Kevin Russell is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He performs regularly with an eclectic and ever-changing group of acoustic players known as Kevin Russell & his So Called Friends. In addition, he hosts Sonoma County music concerts by various touring musicians (Radney Foster, Jim Hurst, Kathy Kallick, Laurie Lewis, Mike Dowling & many others). He has appeared as a sideman on 21 local recordings by songwriters & groups, has recorded five CD’s with his various bands and has five CD’s out under his name. Kevin has also performed as a side player for a number of local songwriters. Candy Girard is a formidable fiddle player with decades of experience. Together, she and Kevin honor a wide spectrum of American music

Joe Craven is an American freestyle folk, world and roots music multi-instrumentalist, singer and educator. He is the Director of RiverTunes Music Camp and a Co-Director of the Wintergrass Youth Academy. He plays a wide variety of string instruments, including fiddle, mandolin, ukulele, tres, cavaquinho, balalaika, as well as percussion, including a pickling jar, a credit card, or a jawbone. Craven is a well known sight at acoustic music festivals and, for many years, was violinist and percussionist for the David Grisman Quintet.[1] Craven lists some of his influences being Jimi Hendrix, dumpster diving, Hermeto Pascoal, thrift stores, Frank Zappa, educator and aesthetician John Dewey, beachcombing, Carl Stalling, Eddie Palmieri, field recordings, Tiny Moore, Los Pleneros De Viente Uno, Darol Anger and The Horseflies.

Cary Black is a bassist, vocalist, producer, and teacher who lives in Sebastopol. Described by Alan Senauke in Sing Out! magazine as “a musician’s musician,” Cary is at home in a wide variety of musical settings; his performance and recording credits include work with Laurindo Almeida, Ernestine Anderson, The Boys of the Lough, Bob Brookmeyer, Greg Brown, Petula Clark, Mike Dowling, Nokie Edwards (Ventures), Nick Forster, Mary Gauthier, Nina Gerber, David Grier, Richard Harris, Sylvia Herold, Dan Hicks, Barbara Higbie, Rob Ickes, Ed Johnson, Orville Johnson, Kathy Kallick, Laurie Lewis, Keith Little, Laura Love, Rose Maddox, Marley’s Ghost, Mike Marshall, Carol McComb, John Miller, Alan Munde, Scott Nygaard, Mollie O’Brien, Kristina Olsen, Joe Pass, Eddie Pennington, U.
