5th Sunday Jam May 31st with Pre-Jam fiddle workshop

Come join in the fun on the Fifth Sunday of May, that’s May 31st from 1-5pm at the Sebastopol Grange – All levels welcome

Chris Carney will be teaching a fiddle workshop prior to the jam, from 11:00-12:45.

The workshop will address several different fiddle topics, including bowing styles, bowing exercises, rosin use, ghost notes, crooked tunes and fiddle tunes in general.
Chris says, “Please bring a recording device. I will also have printed music for those of you who can read it.”

DON’T MISS THIS CHANCE TO ENHANCE YOUR FIDDLING!

You are welcome to bring a lunch to eat between the workshop and the jam.

The Sonoma County Folk Society is providing the venue, the set-up, a fiddle workshop prior to the jam, coffee & tea, a dispenser of fresh water* and a few misc. other beverages.
*Please bring your own cup or water bottle; we are trying to get away from disposable kitchenware.
